Year 6

Welcome to Year 6

Y6 are a wonderful class of 32 and our teacher is Mrs. Johnson.  Within our team, we are extremely lucky to have 3 very experienced teaching assistants -Miss Hall, Mr Stanton and Mrs Chisnall.

Year 6 will be an exciting time. All children will be studying hard and aiming high for their SATs.  It will also be a very rewarding year. Miss Hall and Mr Stanton organise many exciting sporting competitions and tournaments -please make sure your child has their PE kit in school every day. Children will be given sets of revision books to use at home and will also take part in intervention/booster groups to help them meet their full potential. SATs meetings for parents will take place after Christmas.

Please also keep an eye on our Twitter page for updates and photographs of all our wonderful work and achievements.

A class learning plan called our Curriculum Map is published for each of the three terms of the school year that details the content of each subject being studied during the period. This term our topic is called 'Survival' and is a geography based topic.
