Phonics

At Balladen we use Little Wandle Letters and Sounds to teach phonics. 

Our reading books are closely matched to the children's reading progression and are also from the Little Wandle programme.

Your child will also bring home a reading for pleasure book that is not matched to their phonic ability - this is for you to read to your child for enjoyment.
