Week Beginning 6.7.20

Home learning writing task

This week, as part of Home Learning, we are asking children to write a diary extract entitled, ‘One Day During Lockdown’.

This piece of writing should be as independent as possible, can be real or fictional and siblings can feel free to write about the same day so it can be planned together. There is no minimum length. Once your child has completed this writing task, please can it be emailed to the class teacher or dropped off at school. The writing should not be edited, but you are welcome to work with your child and help them plan or put down their ideas. This piece of writing will be passed on to your child’s class teacher for September to help them have an idea of where children are at in terms of their learning.
